Verizon

Design Summit 2022

Verizon hosts a highly anticipated annual design summit and our company experienced an unparalleled surge of creativity and innovation. I was given the amazing opportunity to be the designated visual artist. I was tasked with creating captivating, minimalist, visual assets that would set the stage for the event. With meticulous attention to detail and a deep understanding of our company's brand identity, I carefully crafted dynamic visuals that perfectly reflected the theme of the summit. From presentation slides and banners, each design element fused together to create an eye-catching visual experience for the attendees. I am proud to have played a vital role in making our design summit an unforgettable and visually engaging affair.

Various logos: I created various new logos for the summit to break away from the usual one that had been repurposed for years.

Logo alternatives: Although these weren’t used for the summit, I created logo alternatives to incorporate ‘actual’ mountains within the logo while leveraging the Verizon logo itself.

Banners: I created several banners that were used to promote the summit via email, Slack messages, flyers, etc,

Customer Experience (CX) Design visual assets

Thanks to the opportunity and success I had with creating visual assets for the Design Summit, managers and directors asked if I could create assets for the entire CX Design org.

Verizon has been looking to dabble in the blog realm and were in the early stages of this. For it, they asked if I could create a few different banners that could be used interchangeably as they began to scale.

The request came in to create digital badges for all CX Designers to be able to use and place within their work profiles. These were a few that I put together.

 Mobile App Icon Changing

We had a creative session with our engineers and the idea arose to allow for Athletes (customers) to change the icon of the app on their device. The inspiration came from apps such as Target, Etsy, Reddit, and more.

This was one of the only times that we were able to create an experience within the app that was a ‘surprise and delight’ feature for our Athletes, that didn’t come as an ask from Leadership.

I was fortunate enough that my app icon creations were selected and will be presented to Athletes when this feature goes live.
